America the Beautiful pass, useful for Alcatraz?

We have an America the Beautiful pass and I assumed it might cover Alcatraz because it is NPS. But the ticket looks mostly like ferry/audio tour. Does the park pass reduce anything here?

No. Alcatraz does not charge a separate park entrance fee that your pass can cover; the ticket is for the concession ferry plus the included island/audio-tour experience.

The source pack explicitly says the national park passes are not accepted for this ticket.

Fine print first, then the fun part. Trips go better when nothing surprises me at the gate.
